THE RAMBLINGS OF A 21 YEAR OLD IRISH GIRL CALLED MOLLIE... I HATE APPLE PIE.
JUST B-E-E YOURSELF...

IRISH. TEA. CHOCOLATE. BOOKS. MUSIC. PARTYING. ART. MY VIOLIN.

I set this up this blog mainly to have a place to ramble and muse. So, have a look around, follow me if you want, I mostly follow back! And I promise to keep you in the loop with my, ahem, interesting life.

If you want to know more, feel free to ask away! Or check out my 'About Me' page.

Oh, and above is a picture of me. Just incase you thought I was an old tea-drinking woman who sits at home with a dozen cats. I’m swear I’m not. Yet.

SMART IS SEXY…
I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this, but there exists in our world, a minority of people who believe that pretending to be dumb or stupid is a viable way to attract somebody. They seem to believe that appearing stupid will attract attention and that it’s cute and that if you are smart or intelligent (especially in the school environment) you are snobby, stuck up, a kiss-arse, boring or conceited. Well, I have news for those people, smart is sexy and stupidity is boring. Pretending to be stupid is just, well, plain stupid. These people need to stop vying for attention and we need to stop giving it to them. Being smart should not be intimidating, particularly to boys; surely the girl who can hold a conversation is more interesting than the one who pretends not to be able to?
Society values beauty and aesthetics over intelligence- one glance at the movie industry portrays my point exactly; the geeks are smart losers and the pretty girls are popular and desired. So, my point is: embrace your education- remember that being smart is okay! Work hard and always try to learn, learn, learn! The more you learn the smarter you become and well, that’s pretty sexy :) Ignore those who pretend to be dumb and the boys who give those girls attention aren’t worth yours anyway. Remember; there’s nothing more erotic than a good conversation!
